Craig LaHote was appointed August 5, 2015, to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner James F. Carter. Prior to becoming Commissioner, LaHote was elected three times and served for 12 years as a Trustee for Perrysburg Township. A life-long resident of Wood County and former volunteer firefighter, he was the honored recipient of Rossford High School’s 2011 Award of Distinction. LaHote has an MBA from Heidelberg University, owns a Business and IT Consulting firm and holds Ohio licenses for Life and Health Insurance and Real Estate Sales. He is a graduate of Leadership BG, the Ohio Township Association Leadership Academy and Citizen’s Police Academies for Perrysburg Township, the City of Perrysburg and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. He and his wife Nancy reside in Perrysburg Township and have three adult children.
